University of Virginia economics student from the United States named Otto Warmbier is being held by the North Korean military.

He went to North Korea as a tourist with a group of Young Pioneer Tours while detained on 2 January 2016 ago.

Otto Warmbier is accused of trying to steal a propaganda poster from a hotel while visiting there.

Because of his actions, he was sentenced to 15 years in prison for crimes against the state.

Currently, Otto Warmbier has left North Korea and is on his way home in a coma.

Otto's parents, Fred and Cindy were saddened by the news.
