Luka Modric beat great players such as Cristiano Ronaldo, Antoine Griezmann and Lionel Messi for  title the best player in  the world 2018 FIFA version.

Luka Modric won the award after reaching gains the most votes. Cristiano Ronaldo in second place, and Antoine Griezmann in the last position.

In addition, for the first time in history, Ballon d'Or 2018 also introduced two additional awards. Ballon d'Or Feminine for  women win by  Ada Hegerberg (Olympique Lyon) and for young player namely Trophy Kopa for best U-21 player win by Kylian Mbappe.

For this time, Ballon D'Or 2018 Awards was held in the Grand Palais, Paris, France (3/12/2018).
