Australian television reporter Adam Harvey was shot in the neck while on duty in Malawi, southern Philippines. He worked for the Australian Broadcasting Corporation when he was assigned to cover the conflict area.Harvey was shot in a city with the predominantly Muslim population. In the Philippines, itself is known have a predominantly Catholic population.
But, miracles happen and Harvey's life can be saved with not seriously injured.
From his twitter account, Harvey wrote the word "lucky" which means his situation has improved.
"Thanks everyone - I'm okay. Bullet is still in my neck, but it missed everything important" Harvey.!
Meanwhile, armed conflict in the region has been going on for three weeks and involves US military forces with terrorist groups claiming to be part of the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS).
