President of Indonesia Joko Widodo has inaugurated Djarot Saiful Hidayat as Governor of DKI Jakarta at Istana Negara, Veteran Street, Central Jakarta, Thursday, June 15, 2017,  local time.

Djarot was inaugurated under Presidential Decree No. 76/2017 which directly disband Ahok as governor of DKI Jakarta and made him the definitive governor.

Djarot has time 4 months to lead Jakarta until October. Then he will be replaced by Anies Baswedan as elected governor.
