19-year-old Chan Hao Shan, the easiest doctor candidate in Malaysia

A 19-year-old smart woman will soon become the youngest doctor in Malaysia, after graduation next year. The woman in the know named Chan Hao Shan has now been in the last year of Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) at Taylor's University.

Chan said that his interest in the world of medicine began when his mother was diagnosed with cancer. He was eight years old and from then on she began to learn about the human body and the functions of his organs.

"I am curious about the function of the human body, for example, I am curious about what really happens in the throat when people swallow something," Chan told Sin Chew Daily Daily.

Chan successfully completed his high school education in just one year. He then enrolled in the Australian Matriculation Program at the age of 14 and completed his studies a year later.

After graduating later as MBBS, Chan said that he plans to continue his studies as a specialist.
