On Friday, July 21, 2017, Philippine President Rodrigro Duterte said that he would never visit the United States. He even considered the United States as a bad country.

"I do not have a time to visit the United States during the presidency, nor after," said Duterte,

"I've seen America and it turns out to be "ugly". He said again.

Duterte said all this because previously, a number of US lawmakers opposed the Philippine president's visit to the White House.
