Throughout the last five years most viewed youtube music video is "Gangnam Style" owned by South Korean singer Psy. This music video was so popular at the time that it was able to bypass the maximum YouTube view count limit of 2,147,483,647. As a result, Google's video site must enlarge its count capacity.

However, now Gangnam Style is no longer the most watched music video on YouTube for now because it lost to the music video "See You Again" from Wiz Khalifa and Charlie Puth.

See You Again is now known to have around 2,905,966,874 views and this amount is enough to beat Gangnam Style as the most popular music video on YouTube as it only has 2,897,031,178 views.

See You Again itself is a soundtrack song for the movie Fast and Furious 7 (2015) and the cover is dedicated to one of the actors in the film, Paul Walker.

In addition, the two songs above may not last long because the music video "Despacito" from Luis Fonsi (Puerto Rico) now have around 2,515,917,840 views in just six months.
