An unarmed Russian man named Alexander Lopukhin survived after fighting a wild bear.

According to Mirror, the 44-year-old man said he survived after a 10-minute fight with a large mammal until the bear finally retreated.

"I pushed him away and his fur, I noticed, very good, very, very soft. We fought for about 10 minutes until I beat his face, "Lopukhin said.

After the bear was gone, Lopukhin realized that he had a pretty bad wound. He can still walk along the 6 kilometers to finally get help.
